To register for 2025/26 season tryouts, click on the registration button below. All current Avalanche and new players must register for tryouts in order to receive a team placement offer. Registration is FREE.

Offer Letters & 24 Hour Acceptance
After tryouts, team placement offers will be emailed out via Playmetrics. Players will have 24 hours to accept or decline offer. If more time is needed, please let the coach listed on the email know. No communication leads a coach to believe that there is no interest in joining the team and the next player on the list will be notified. Once a player accepts the offer and pays the deposit, they are considered registered with Avalanche for the 2025/26 season.
Tryout FAQs
Are tryouts free?
Yes, registration for 2025/26 season tryouts are free.There will be an acceptance deposit of $150 due at team registration. There will be payment plan options and full payment discounts available at time of registration.
Do I have to register for tryouts?
Yes, all current and new players need to register for tryouts in order for a team placement offer to be received.
If I can't make tryouts, but have intentions to play with Avalanche, do I still need to register for tryouts and is there another way for my player to be evaluated?
Yes, you still need to register for tryout in order to get a team placement offer. New players, please email us at info@avalanche.org for alternative evaluation opportunites. Current players, email your coach should a conflict arise.
I've been playing a year up, what tryout do I register for?
You will need to attend your age group tryout. If your abilities excel in comparison to the rest of the players in that age group, then a separate conversation will be held.
